Winter Jam

This new years eve we invite you dance loving souls for a coming together in the beautiful forest of nordmarka for a contact improv jam over 4 days. We want to invite you for a community gathering at the stunning Nordmarkskapellet and dance the new year in. The intention for the event is to get to know eachother, building community bonds and practice dancing. The new year marks a new beginning and what better way to start of the new year with friends, connecting to yourself, your body and nature. You are welcome to join no matter what your experience in contact improvisation. The surroundings are the forest and we invite you to step out of the city and enjoy some time in front of the fireplace, some walks in the woods, jams and movement scores in the chapel and lots of fun times together. Since we are in the Nordmarkskapellet it is completely drug and alcohol free event. We will be serving vegetarian/vegan food 3 times a day and there will be plenty of opportunity for tea ceremony and other rituals during the event. Nordmarkskapellet is situated 6 km into the forest from Frognerseteren and it is easy to get to by walking or skiing. If you have a disability you need to let us know some time in advance so that we can apply for a driving permit for you to drive to the cabin. The rooms are spacious and nice and it will be shared rooms. For the first few days we will also have a sauna available during the afternoon and evening, so as to relax and unwind between dancing.
