All level intro to Blues dancing class: 8:00-9:00pm with Byron Stuart and Olandra No partner necessary! Come learn the basics of dancing in partnership, meet new friends, and warm up for the night! Live Music: 9:15-Midnight by Lulu and the Broadsides ***This is going to be BLUESY and GROOVY ya'll! Think 50s era- the sound of Elvis Presley meets Big Maybelle and Little Walter all with some R&B flavor to set the mood. Dayna Kurtz on lead vocals and it will be a night unlike any other!*** After party on Frenchmen or with DJ Soul Sister: 1am onward! This is our FIFTH monthly blues night with live, rotating music in a gorgeous space just outside the quarter. Our events will be donation based to cultivate an all-inclusive culture around the art and soul of blues music and dancing. Come to enjoy the band, mingle on the outdoor patio, enjoy a specialty cocktail, play some pool, or groove out on the dance floor! Bring cash for the mixed drinks, beer, and wine or BYOB.
