SOULARUS WINTER RETREAT IN MEXICO JAN 3 -10, 2026 Begin the new year with a week-long retreat at the spectacular yoga resort of Mar de Jade located about 90 minutes north of Puerto Vallarta. This epic wellness and retreat center is nestled between the tropical jungle and pristine sandy beach of Chacala, Mexico. Want to dance on the beach in the moonlight beneath a sky full of stars? Ready for adventure and connection in a tropical paradise? Would you like to relax, unwind, and share good times with your community? Could you use some sun and warm water in the middle of winter? This 7-day retreat is for you to relax, play, and connect where the jungle meets the sea. The emphasis is on movement, nature, pleasure, fun, and connection. Each day we'll move together blending a variety of practices and modalities including Yoga, Contact Improv, and Conscious/Ecstatic Dance. There'll be plenty of free time and of course you are always at choice about your participation and engagement level. Families most welcome! ======================== Food and Farm Meals at Mar de Jade are delicious and well balanced buffet-style meals served three times daily in the open-air dining room overlooking Chacala bay. Every dish is made daily from scratch using fresh ingredients from their Organic Farm. The menu is inspired by traditional Mexican cuisine and international flavors, and features vegetarian, vegan, and gluten-free dishes as well as fresh fish, seafood, and chicken. They do not serve red meat or pork. The kitchen is happy to accommodate your dietary restrictions and food allergies, if given advance notice. All of the raw foods are carefully disinfected and washed with purified water. Free purified water is available at stations throughout the grounds. Throughout the day visit the snack bar at any time to enjoy coffee, tea, fruit, bread, and the stellar homemade organic peanut butter and mango marmalade. It is also has an organic farm, a school for local children, and a medical clinic for the village. There is a volunteer program if you'd like to be of service before or after our retreat.
