Winter Salsa Bachata w Bacharico

I am super excited to announce the amount of dancing that I will be offering you guys this Winter Session. Starting on January 10th, I will be teaching 3 different styles of dancing 3 nights a week at 2 different locations. All are 10 week courses! Bachata (Multiple Styles) Originated in the Dominican Republic in it's most raw form. Has since made it's way around the world and has been fuzed with multiple dance styles including Zouk, Tango and even Kizomba. Sensual Bachata which originated in Europe, is currently the mainstream form of the dance. I will be teaching multiple styles: Traditional Dominican Bachata, Urban Bachata and Sensual Bachata with Zouk principles. Anyone taking any of my bachata courses will graduate with a higher understanding of bachata, it's fundamentals, how to properly lead/follow, the history, the meaning, the evolution, have the ability to dance bachata anywhere with anyone and style identification awareness. Salsa on2 New York Style (Personal Fav On 2 salsa originated in New York, and is often referred to as “New York Style” salsa. It was popularized by Eddie Torres who helped formalize the timing of the dance. On 2 salsa is also sometimes referred to as “mambo”, which is an earlier style of Latin dance that was popular before salsa, and is also danced on the 2nd beat of the measure. New York style salsa is known for its smooth and elegant turn patterns and footwork sequences, as opposed to the flashier LA style. Salsa On1 LA Style On1 salsa, also known LA-Style salsa, is one the most common styles of salsa dancing in the Bay Area and around the world. On1 salsa dancing is so-called because dancers break forward on the first count of the measure (on 1). The focus in the Salsa Los Angeles style is not so much on the complicated arm movements which are often used in the basic Cuban style.
