Then kick up your heels with a dance lesson that will have you swinging out on the dancefloor to the sounds of The Georgia Brooks Swingtet, who will beguile and thrill you through the evening with hand-picked hits from the jazz age. The Georgia Brooks Swingtet, fronted by jazz vocalist and dancer Georgia Brooks, has delighted audiences at numerous dances, concerts and jazz clubs across Victoria, alongside festival appearances at The Melbourne International Jazz Festival, Castlemaine Jazz Festival and Melbourne Swing Festival. Their 2018 debut album, With Thee I Swing, is a favourite among swing dancers and jazz lovers alike. The Rhythm Revellers is a lindy hop and jazz dance company from Melbourne. They delight in sharing the sheer joy of jazz while respectfully acknowledging its Black American history, culture and values. In their previous incarnation as Echoes of Harlem, The Revellers performed at Victorian Arts Centre’s ‘Morning Melodies’ series, the Melbourne International Jazz Festival, The Famous Spiegeltent and Thornbury Theatre.
