Women’s Ecstatic Dance (w BassTemple + cacao)

Women, gather with us for an evening of connection, dance, and raw feminine expression. 6:20-6:30pm arrive & settle in 6:30-7:00pm opening circle & invocation: cacao ceremony, intention setting, co creating an altar 7:00-9:00pm ecstatic dance set by BassTemple 9:00-9:30pm [longer] closing circle and shares “I hope you will go out and let stories, that is life, happen to you, and that you will work with these stories from your life--not someone else’s life--water them with your blood and tears and your laughter till they bloom, till you yourself burst into bloom. That is the work. The only work.” Clarissa Pinkola Estes DJ Bio: Bass Temple is a Denver based producer and DJ. Her music journeys from deep primordial bass into cosmic melodic loops, raising the energy into a high vibrational experience. Her sets seamlessly flow through styles weaving them into a musical kaleidoscope. Bass Temple’s musical career began on the Big Island of Hawaii where she was resident DJ of Out the Box, the longest running monthly bass music event. She headlined some of Big Island's biggest events including: Petting Zoo, EarthDance, Garden Temple, Hawaiian Sanctuary’s EDance, and An-ten-nae’s “Revival” retreat . Since relocating to Denver she has performed at The Black Box, Denver Ecstatic Dance and most recently at CloZee’s “Voyage” festival, presented by Odyzey Music. Recently, Bass Temple has been included on Emergence, an album curated by CloZee, and Virtus in Sonus V: both released with Gravitas Recordings. She has been a featured artist on EDM.com as well as Liquid Stranger’s coveted Spotify playlists, Power Grid and TRIPPED. (more deets) •admission is $20 •please bring a personal item for the altar! It can be your favorite crystal, a photo, or something you treasure. •cacao will be offered at $6/cup (or a 6punch pass for $30) •though we love and support all genders, this event is intended for those who identify solely as women. •we will be following traditional ecstatic dance guidelines in the dance room while the dj is playing. This is an event designed to support the co-creation of divine feminine sisterhood & relations, and we are so looking forward to connecting in that space of deep love, gratitude, and empowerment for the individual & collective. [ecstatic dance guidelines] -this is a sober event, and sober space. Also, pls no smoking or vaping on temple grounds:) -no talking on the dance floor. You can sing lyrics to a song, shout, or just walk into the lobby if you do want to have a conversation:) -no phones in the dance room. You may not take pics or videos during the event.
