Workshop for professional dancers w. Chris-Pascal Englund Braun

The workshop is built up around full body engagement - releasing our (bodies) full potential through the passion for music and celebration of movement. � We will try not to see the body as one unit, but as a constellation of numerous micro- universes which can work either independently or in connection to ourselves or a partner. Elements of acrobatic floorwork, contact-improvisation and animalistic physicality scaffold these 6 hours we’ll spend together. Chris graduated from Iwanson International in the summer of 2017. Before he started to explore the dancing world, he was rooted in gymnastics and acrobatics back in Denmark. After finishing his dancing-studies in Munich, Chris has been working as a freelance dancer participating in projects all around Europe and danced choreographies by Johannes Wieland and Emesey Nagy (MAZE company) amongst others. At the moment Chris is teaching Contemporary, Contact-improv and Improv at Iwanson International whilst continuously working on his own projects with the STAMMBAUM- collective. From January 2020 Chris will be dancing in Kassel for Johannes Wieland.
