Workshop: Killer Boogie

No experience needed, this is a beginner workshop! Come and learn how to dance the Killer Boogie (the Boogie Woogie world's Big Apple choreography) with Drea from Black Cat Boogie! Price List: Student: $10 Community: $12 About your teacher Drea: Drea began swing dancing in 2010, starting with Lindy Hop and Charleston. It didn't take her long to discover a love for boogie woogie and, although as a kid she always wanted to be a ballerina, she's more than thrilled to have ended up as Queen of the Hop. She trained in Germany, Herrang and Montreal, and taught at Bees' Knees Dance and Soda Pop Hop. In 2018, she founded Black Cat Boogie. Drea loves bright colours, twirly skirts, theatre and cats. She continues to marvel at just how much dance has changed her life. Black Cat Boogie hosts a social dance (with an intro lesson) the second Sunday of each month at The Imperial Pub.
