WHAT? 1.5 Hours Workshop with 30 mins practica. WHERE? Bright Balcony studio in Camden, Academy Mews Studio. WHO? With the talented dancer and generous teacher Vinícius Flores. Vini has been making a name for himself in Europe, we are very lucky to have him for a short time in London! TOPIC? * SACADAS IN CLOSE EMBRACE* -We will look at BODY MECHANICS mechanics needed to execute sacadas successfully in close embrace. -The subtleties of close embrace CONNECTION will be looked at in conjunction with the importance of the role of the 'perceiver ' or 'follower' in order to understand the movement. -Strong emphasis on improving IMPROVISATION of complex and unusual sacadas and real leading and following.
