Sunday November 26th and Sunday December 10th Masha Gurina and Gustavo Soraire * Sensitivity and fluidity of the embrace * Embrace is the essence of tango. Making oneself comfortable in the embrace, communicating through it with the partner, finding space and freedom 'inside' it and using it to change dynamics - these are fundamental concepts to which we'll dedicate these two sessions. Workshop I Sunday November 26th 15:00-18:00 FUNDAMENTALS OF THE EMBRACE: In the first workshop we will focus on: - Finding stability/ connection to the floor and to each other, awareness of different 'centre' points and shared space - Breathing inside the embrace, finding and giving space though 'micro movement'. - using the closed and open sides, shifting between open and close embrace with ease. Workshop II Sunday December 10th 15:00-18:00 USING EMBRACE TO CHANGE DYNAMICS. This is the second session of the Worksop series dedicated to the embrace.
