AGENDA: more than 8 hours of lessons + special milonga night with performance of Elise Roulin & Toni Kastelan --------------------------------------------------------- W1: PLAY WITH ENERGY EXCHANGE How much energy do we need to move our bodies ? Explore and create a movement that is organic and fluent. W2: BECOMING ONE Connect and accept the other as yourself. From the couple, become part of the group. W3: AMPLIFICATIONS & PERSONAL STYLE Interpret the dance and make it your own by amplifying the lead and add your personality to it. W4: ENERGY CUTS (INTERRUPTED MOVEMENTS) Create “cut” movements by change of directional energy. These cuts can be used to induce different kind of leg movements as a result of the interrupted energy (ocho cortado, voleo..) W5: VALS “Musicality and flow” We’ll propose a sequence of steps applied to the music to search for the flow and rhythm of valse. W6: MILONGA One secret about milonga is in how to “cut” the axis movement precisely and clearly.
