Workshop with Wendy Jehlen

A physically-intensive workshop introducing Jehlen's particular style of movement and choreography, which incorporates elements of African Dance (from Mali), Capoeira, kalaripayattu, Bharata Natyam and Odissi, Release Technique, Butoh, Contact Improv and other contemporary approaches. The style is physically intense, grounded, and builds fearlessness through deep knowledge of ones own body and it's relationship to the floor and to other movers.
