Seine professionelle Karriere als Tänzer begann im Alter von 21 Jahren. Nelson beschloss, sich ganz dem Tango zu widmen, und begann neben seiner ehemaligen Tanzpartnerin Carolina Quiñones ein intensives Training an der Schule von Carlos und Rosa Pérez. Dank ihres Talents erhielten sie schnell ein Stipendium für einen dreimonatigen Tango-Studienaufenthalt in Italien. Nach ihrer Rückkehr nach Argentinien debütierten sie im renommierten „Torquato Tasso”, bevor sie sich schließlich entschlossen, getrennte berufliche Wege zu gehen. Zusammenarbeit mit Giselle Mariel Tacon 2015 schloss sich Nelson mit Giselle Mariel Tacon zusammen. Gemeinsam begannen sie eine neue Reise, die es ihnen ermöglichte, als Tänzer zu wachsen und gleichzeitig ihre individuellen Wurzeln zu bewahren. Sie verfeinerten ihr Handwerk unter der Anleitung von Meistern wie Natalia Games, Gabriel Angio, Graciela González und Carlos Rivarola. Derzeit setzen sie ihre Ausbildung bei Graciela González fort. Ihre technische Präzision und ausdrucksstarke Interpretation führten zu Auftritten an renommierten Veranstaltungsorten wie „Maldita Milonga” und „Milonga Amapola”. Erfolge bei Wettbewerben und weltweite Anerkennung Das Paar hat eine beeindruckende Wettbewerbsbilanz vorzuweisen: Meilenstein 2019: Sieger der Vorrunde (Subsede) in Buenos Aires in der Kategorie Tango de Pista. Europameisterschaft 2024: 3. Platz im Tango de Pista (Salón) und 5. Platz im Tango Escenario. 2025 Weltmeisterschaftsqualifikation: 6. Platz Aktuelle Projekte Nelson ist derzeit Mitarbeiter der Argentinischen Tangoschule in Monopoli. Heute reist er mit seinem Projekt Viaggio Tango, das verschiedene Meister und Schulen zusammenbringt. His professional career as a dancer took flight at the age of 21. Deciding to dedicate himself full-time to Tango, Nelson began training rigorously at the school of Carlos and Rosa Pérez alongside his former dance partner, Carolina Quiñones. Their talent quickly earned them a scholarship to study Tango in Italy for three months. Upon returning to Argentina, they debuted at the renowned "Torquato Tasso" before eventually deciding to follow separate professional paths. Partnership with Giselle Mariel Tacon In 2015, Nelson joined forces with Giselle Mariel Tacon. Together, they embarked on a new journey that allowed them to grow as dancers while preserving their individual roots. They refined their craft under the tutelage of masters such as Natalia Games, Gabriel Angio, Graciela González, and Carlos Rivarola. They currently continue their studies with Graciela González. Their technical precision and expressive interpretation have led to performances at prestigious venues like "Maldita Milonga" and "Milonga Amapola." Competition Success & Global Recognition The couple has built an impressive competitive record: 2019 Milestone: Champions of the Buenos Aires Preliminary (Subsede) in the Tango de Pista category. 2024 European Championship: 3rd place in Tango de Pista (Salón) and 5th place in Tango Escenario. 2025 World Qualifiers: 6th place Current Projects Nelson is currently a staff member at the Argentine Tango School in Monopoli. Today, he travels with his project, ViaggioTango, which brings together various masters and schools. His mission is to promote the exchange of diverse perspectives to enrich the learning experience of every student.
