Dear Tango Community We are privileged to welcome in Helsinki, the World Champions of Tango de Pista 2021 - Barbara Ferreyra & Agustin Agnez. Barbara & Agustin were crowned champions in 2021 in the category: Tango Salon (Tango de Pista) in the most prestigious Tango competition, Mundial de Tango, held in Buenos Aires, where each year hundreds of couples from all over the world compete for the title. They were awarded for their excellence in dancing Argentine Tango, which combines the elegance of walk, technique and musical interpretation of different orchestras. PROGRAM WORKSHOPS Friday 31/03 18 – 19.30hs Tango Milongero- Learn to identify your embrace and improve your level of connection. The traditional techniques of dance the floor we will find your Best Tango Together (All Levels) Saturday 01/04 14-15.30hs New sequences to dance milonga with a great traditional style plus a correct technique and embrace to dance better. We will dance Milonga smooth and with a stumble (All Levels) 15.30-17hs Tango- We are going to work on the most beautiful steps of traditional Tango: voleos, lapiz for leader and follower. Enrosque for the dance floor, introduction to Giro. We will finish dancing a sequence with all the elements learned. Sunday 02/04 16-17.30hs Changing roles- you will understand the correct technique of the movement of the body, to dance better, and in this way you will be able to dance both roles. You will learn different elementary sequences to enjoy. The experience is unique and surprising.
