Get ready for an electrifying Saturday on APRIL 26th with world-renowned guest artists, DC Casineros ✨ Don’t miss this opportunity to elevate your dance skills at their workshops. Dancers of all levels are welcome! 3 instructors will teach 3 levels in 3 spaces. THE COMPANY DC Casineros is a world-renowned dance company that performs Cuban dance styles, including Rueda de Casino, Afro-Cuban Rumba, Cha Cha Chá, Mambo, Danzón, and Yoruba Orisha dance. They performe and teach nationally and abroad, including twice as the opening act for Grammy award winning Los Van Van and the Orquesta Buena Vista Social Club. Read their bio at https://dccasineros.org/. ⏰ SCHEDULE 🔶 10-11:10am Cuban Body Movement & Styling This class focuses on elements of Afro-Cuban and Cuban Popular dances - including Rumba, Guaguanco, Gaga, Mambo, Pilon, Son, and Cha Cha Cha - which add to Casino styling. We learn to fuse these movements into Casino with technique and musical interpretation. 🔷 11:15am-12:25pm Casino Partner Work This class focuses on creating Casino combinations with technical elements that help dancers enrich their repertoire and build foundations to create their own combinations. These elements include basic Casino steps such as Paso de Son, Rodeo Inverso, Salones, Paseos, traveling turns, and more! ♦️ 12:30-1:40pm Rueda de Casino This class focuses on learning DC Casineros' signature moves for Rueda de Casino, with engaging calls, dynamic transitions, and fusion of Cuban Popular and traditional dances. DC Casineros will also be leading a mini lesson, line dance, and Rueda at Noche Latina 9pm-1am later in the day. 📍 LOCATION TreeHouse Studio & Lounge 119 S.
