WORKSHOPS Friday 31st of January 19.30 - 20.45 Chacarera Argentina (Folk): Chacarera is a folk dance and it’s part of Argentine culture. It is danced in folk festivals and between tandas in the milongas of Buenos Aires. * Open level, not experience required not partner needed. Saturday 1st of February 15.00 - 16.15 Tango Tango: The magical moment of Tango El Abrazo. This is a technique class where we drill into dynamics and communication between partners. Focus: improving posture & deeper connection in the embrace. 16.30 - 17.45 Zamba Argentina (Folk) Zamba is an Argentine Folklore dance in which a couple dances in circles at a distance with a handkerchief, maintaining eye contact. This is a very elegant and joyful dance. *Open level, not experience required not partner needed. Bring a “pañuelo” (handkerchief). Sunday 2nd of February 16.00 - 17.15 Milonga 1 / Special for beginners or with one year of tango Different elements of milonga “lisa” and “traspié” from the Baldosa to have fun also in tight spaces. Everyone is welcome, with or without a dance partner. 17.30 - 18.45 Milonga 2 / for those that have at least 3 years of tango We will go for more complex movements like Americana, zig zig y corridita in milonga. *For tango and Milonga: if you come alone is not a problem, you just have to be ready to change roles Price: 1 Lesson: 300 nok 2 Lessons: 500 nok 5 Lesson: 1.000 nok Private lessons: available from 30th January till 5th of February
