Yasim graduated from Escuela Nacional De Arte in 2008, shortly after he graduated, he has traveled the world performing in some of the biggest theatres with companies such as Ballet Revolucion as contemporary acro dancer. Yasim started his career in the Circus as an acrobat, from there he found his love of dance becoming the soloist dancer for Cuba’s Ballet of TV. While working with PMM company, he toured Italy in 2010 and danced as a backup dancer in live concerts of artists like Gilberto Santa Rosa, La India, and Don Omar. In 2012 he worked as a dancer and choreographer for the Gran Circus Nock. Throughout his career he has choreographed for many of the Latin world’s biggest artists music videos and award ceremony performances. Yasim is known for is wide range of styles in which he dances. From Contemporary to Hip Hop, Afro to Salsa, you name it he dances it. Due to this wide range of skills his choreography is known for its fusion styling. He is always stepping outside the box creating inspiring choreography. Yasim has recently worked closely with QUT University Dance faculty creating a Cuban Contemporary piece educating classical students on the culture of Afro Cuban religion through dance. YCV Pro Team came 2nd in World Of Dance Urban Competition in 2019 earning a place in the finals in LA! Yasim has starred in commercials and large stage productions such as Bris Fest, Beats on Point with Masters Of Choreography since arriving in Australia in 2018. He he since traveled internationally teaching in large dance festivals in Europe.
