Many dances have created their own official day which helps spread the love, culture and growth of the dance to the rest of the world, and thats exactly what we plan to do. For many years, lives have been changed by dance, and many with Kizomba in particular and we want to give our thanks back and promote the dance we all love. There are hundreds of thousands Kizomba dancers across the globe and our goal is to unite and join together as one. International Kizomba Day will take place annually on the 22nd July. Our aim is not only to promote Kizomba but to support the people around us, so each year we will choose a project or a charity to fundraise for. To celebrate our first year, WKP has chosen the ‘Dance For It’ movie project which goal is to show the real life of some of our most loved Kizomba teachers, Ricardo & Paula, Albir & Carola, Paulo & Lanna. So what better way to raise money for a good cause? A global Kizomba Flash Mob and we want you to get involved!
