Get Ready for Liberty Swing with Jes Ann Nail & Dimitri Hector! Join us for a 3-week progressive workshop series designed to help you prepare mentally, physically, and creatively for your competitive performance at Liberty Swing Dance Championships. LEVEL - WSDC Novice with points or WSDC Intermediate level https://www.danznik.com/e/west-coast-swing-performance-prep/ SCHEDULE - Saturdays, 5:30-7:30pm 5/30 – Presentation + Phrasing 6/6 – Partnership + Musicality 6/13 – Texture + Dynamics 3 sessions of learning, progression, and fun! DESCRIPTION - Each session will start with Body Alignment + Balance Drills led by Dimitri, followed by a hands-on class reviewing essential competition tactics and topics each week: Presenting + Phrasing, Partnership + Musicality, and Texture + Dynamics. The last portion of class will be dedicated to spotlight dances where each dancer will receive guidance and feedback from both Jes Ann and Dimitri that will elevate your J&J performances and help you remain calm and cool on the competition floor. Recommended for dancers attending Liberty Swing Dance Championships but open to anyone! PRICING - $150 / 3-week series $120 for Danznik Members Partner Requirement: Registration requires joining with a partner in the opposite role.
