Xmas Swing with Shirt Tail Stompers and DJ Sally!

It's time for the last dance of the year! We present you: the Shirt Tail Stompers London’s top vintage band, the Shirt Tail Stompers are firmly established at home and internationally playing Harlem swing and the hot jazz of the 1920s and 1930s. Featuring music from composers such as Duke Ellington, Count Basie and Benny Goodman. Over the last two years, highlights have included shows and events at the Royal Festival Hall, Paris Jazz Roots Festival, and the Royal Academy of Arts. Last year alone saw them play festivals and shows in South Korea, Lithuania, Germany, Czech Republic, Hungary, Poland, Norway, Italy and all across the UK. Expect singing, dancing and a whole lot of fun! "Righteously retro, but youthful, trad jazzers dive back to prohibition-era speakeasies for inspiration, playing clarinet/trumpet/guitar-led Dixieland hits from Waller, Ellington and Basie." Time Out 7:10-8pm, we will have a drop-in all level swing dance lesson (different material every week!) and we have a live band for your social dancing delight from 8pm-10pm.
