About this Event

Sine waves carve a deep trench from Tøyen park to the heart of the city where ØyaNatt at Jaeger ensues. Lower frequencies rumble and shake in the din of the night calling revellers to our subterranean enclave from their hill on high as we host some of the finest selectors from our two floors. Budgets stretch and lineups bulge with international and local acts on our cosy island of sound as Jaeger presents ØyaNatt! We open up the floor on Wednesday with Drum n Bass and Jungle in the basement featuring icon Teebee while Fredfades and Telephones play the sauna. -Teebee- A Drum n Bass legend and one Norway’s biggest DJ exports, Teebee’s credentials precede him. He has made a colossal impact on the Drum & Bass world since first emerging in 1996, with associations running the gauntlet of Drum n Bass’ most notorious protagonists from Golide to Andy C. His records like Black Science Labs have been inducted in Drum n Bass halls of fame while he continues to be touchstone for the next generation both as a solo artist and under projects with other Drum n Bass luminaries like Calyx. -Bigup: Drunkfunk + Fjell + Tech + Simon Peter- Constituting a few generations of DJs and producers who cover the vast expanse of DnB and Jungle, Bigup represents every nuanced corner of the genre and community in Norway. Over the last few years they’ve been bringing sounds from liquid to hardcore to club spaces around Oslo, with regular appearances at Jaeger. -Telephones- Bergen-Rimini-Chicago-Honolulu-Detroit-Jupiter-Manchester is the sonic route on which Telephones travels. Starting with primitive PC-software and DJing in the late 90s, Telephones debuted in his hometown Bergen, Norway at the turn of the century as an underage, snuck into clubs and put behind decks by the lively scene around Tellé Records. Since then he has equally focused on production and DJing, now with nearly 20 years experience behind the decks. -Fredfades- Fredfades has been a tour de force on Oslo’s clubbing circuit. He’s the visionary behind Mutual Intentions; the man behind the controls at Tøyen Holding and an incorrigible recording artist and DJ. In the last year, he’s released and toured a record with Tøyen Holding; recorded various collaborative records; oversaw a host of new releases via Mutual Intentions and topped it all off with a solo record called Kaviar, primed by many to be the summer darling.
