Yerevan Swing: The Era of Jazz and Dancing II

[ARMENIAN BELOW] ❂Մուտքը՝ անվճար ❂Free entry The Sevan Swing Festival team is back for a second edition of this workshop! Like last time, a (shorter) lecture will be followed by an initiation and a little party. The talk will retrace the history of jazz dances in USA from 20's to 50's and its renaissance. You will learn of influential musicians and we will show you historical footage, giving you a taste of the rich history that made this dance the "pop" music of that time. We will then show you the dance and you will learn your first steps! For people who attended the first event in May, come along, there will be even more dancing. :) Our speaker is an international swing dance teacher, performer and jazz dance historian Yana Sanamyantz.
