Youth Dance Classes

YOUTH DANCE CLASSES START AUG 12!! Dancing is a great way to introduce kids to the art while helping them build self-confidence,social skills and also a fun way to keep them active. Our curriculum is designed to train children of all ages, for boys or girls. Our youth classes will be at the same time as the adults beginner classes for any parents interested in taking our Salsa or Bachata classes! Suggested age 6-12 yo Schedule: •MON -6pm Salsa Our Salsa Class will begin to develop dance concepts common in the Latin Culture. Students will be learning beginning technique, basic terminology, timing, and movement while still emphasizing creative expression as they learn the basics of the Latin dance. They will also be introduced to other Latin forms of dancing such as Merengue, Cha Cha, and Bachata. We host monthly family friendly dance socials for child performance opportunities. •WED- 6pm Hip hop Our Hip Hop class will introduce the precise rhythmic and percussive movement of step, mixed with the popping, locking and house elements of hip-hop.They will be taught appropriate movements set to fun upbeat music. Hip Hop instills rhythm and helps young dancers develop muscle memory. •THURS- 6pm Ballet/Jazz Our Ballet classes will provide the students with a technical foundation, fundamentals and the basics of Ballet and Jazz necessary for all aspiring dancers. This class will also help them improve on their flexibility. Price: 1 class per week $65 month/ $16.25 per class 2 class per week $75 month/ $10.66 per class 3 class per week $85 month/ $7.08 per class Our instructors have years of experience dancing, instructing and performing.
