Create Beyond Zouk: Zoga Be Beyond Self: Community and Sharing Make Magic Now: Living Socially Zoga is a fusion of Brazilian Zouk, Yoga and Thai Massage facilitated by a giver and receiver, a leader and a follower, and a switching of roles. Zoga is improvisational and skill based. These workshops will gently teach technical skills, connection and help students understand consent and platonic intimacy. About the artist: Charles Nkoho is an Artist in all of art’s expressions, within self, amongst others and resonating to the world. Charles art is impressionist, self-taught and rich with tradition, innovation and a must-do approach. Charles is a poet, contributing wisdom and simple and self-affirming ways to stay positive. Charles makes music, alive and patient. Charles is a dancer in multiple genres, learning from experts and bringing his own inner expertise and birthright: engineering love, intimacy, friendship and joy to each dance. Please join us for workshops 3-6 pm with a break in the middle. We will gather with a potluck dinner and facilitated community conversations, photo shoots and videos, and a closing group meditation in gratitude for our abundance. To commence the afternoon, we commit to our best enthusiastic YES, we will liven up the dance floor with an Urban zouk/reggae/kizomba/“whale song” songlist, utilize our partnering skills and socializing graces. We reserve our best inner selves for the social dance floor. We respect those that choose to dance separately ecstatic in their own space, and we honor rest and celebrate the use of our word no.
