Zouk and Bachata: Charlotte Workshop & Social

For the first time in Charlotte's history!!! don't miss it!!! Come join us for a day of Sensual Social Dancing and workshops featuring Zouk and Bachata. If you haven't already heard, zouk is one of the newest and fastest growing dances in the US characterized by it's connection, flow, and beauty. He quickly fell in love with freedom and flow of the dance and started intensive training. After roughly a year training locally in Knoxville, TN, he was brought on as an assistant instructor at ZoukEra dance company. To further his dance knowledge, Brad spend the next four years traveling both the across the country and internationally to train with as many artists as possible, something he still does today as he believes dance knowledge is never complete. In 2014, Brad founded his own company, Armada Zouk, which now hosts weekly classes, socials, and choreography training in Knoxville as well as weekly classes in Nashville. In addition to dance, he has earned a PhD in biomedical engineering with a focus in biomechanics. This gives Brad a unique background in truly understanding how the body is designed to move and function, providing many insights into the realm of dance. After completing the doctoral program, he spent May and June of 2016 training in Sao Paulo in Rio De Janeiro with multiple instructors incluing Renata Peçanha, the founder of zouk. After leaving Brazil, he spent the next two months hosting an intensive 8 week, 32 hour series in Kona, Hawaii. Now back in the mainland, he is deeply passionate about continuing to spread high quality zouk knowledge throughout the states and internationally. Belle, an instructor for several Latin dance styles from Israel. after falling in love with the Latin dance world went to classes, workshop and courses in different styles including Salsa (Cuban, LA, NY, PR), Bachata sensual and dominican, kizomba, Lambazouk, Axe, WSC and more. Back in Israel her main focus as an instructor was on Sensual Bachata. Today, Belle curranly lives in Charlotte.
