Zouk Energy Flow - 2nd edition

Emotions through the flow of Zouk In the second edition of Zouk Energy Flow, @tatileme and @b_moving promote an experience with the element WATER. The flow of Zouk, full of waves and fluidity, invites us to get in touch with our emotions. In an organic way, always respecting the individuality of each body, we will recognize our own waters and how they can move our emotions. It's a class designed for dancers and non-dancers who want to learn more about dance, their bodies and movement possibilities. We're going to use the essence of Brazilian-Zouk, this is usually a partner dance BUT in this workshop we're applying all the movements for SOLO dancing. So there is no partner needed, but very welcome to join! :) - We'll guide you through different movement patterns and movement explorations through words, images and music. - We're helping you to find and create tools to connect yourself with your emotions and your ability for self-expression. . She is one of the partner-owners of Mutama School of Movement and Expression, where she develops her work with Zouk, Liquid Leading, Massage Applied to Dance and the therapeutic approaches that support dance as a tool for healing and transformation - connecting her studies with a post-graduate degree in Transpersonal Psychology. She was director of Lehoff Cia de Dança for 3 years, and has directed the show "Um Tanto Delas" in 2017. Also in that year, she founded the "Immersion in Dance" - congress to deepen partner-dancing. She has a license-degree in dance from Faculdade Angel Vianna, Rio de Janeiro, where she has been developing the technique of Liquid Leading in partner dancing. The method is built on body dialogue, starting from understanding that dancing is an expressive language in which each member brings his or her story to share with the other. In her work, she intertwines studies of Contemporary Dance, Contact Improvisation, Somatic Education, Yoga and Transpersonal Psychology. She seeks to understand and enhance the sensitive body and the body itself in movement, ultimately carrying the themes into partner dancing .
