HI ZEN ZOUKIESSSS 💚 After Catle of Miracles and Zouk Cologne, I got so inspired to dance and organize more again! I can't stop my dancing feet!! So we are back with our 1st social of Zouk je Zen in 2026🤩 It took a while to find a new beautiful location to flow and feel relaxed together. BUT I found it! In the nature of Driebergen Zeist and I can't wait to hear what you think of it! The new location is called " De Nieuwe Plek" in Driebergen. It is already a movement studio where breathwork, yoga & ecstatic dance comes together. So hopefully we convince everyone of the community there to start ZOUK as well hihi. So come and let's spread the Zouk magic! ✨WORKSHOP BY XANNE & SIDNEY 1 -2PM✨ We start with a workshop : Storytelling through Zouk, Play with Archetypes Discover how movement can become a story. In this workshop, we explore different archetypes through Zouk, such as the warrior, the dreamer or the romantic, and how they transform connection, expression, and musicality in dance. We loooove to discover what more is possible in Zouk ,so come again with an open mind and let's discover together! TEACHERS : Sidney Cardozo is a partner dancer with over 15 years of experience in Argentine Tango, Salsa, Bachata, Kizomba, and Brazilian Zouk. Since 2019, he has trained with Zouk artists from around the world, building a strong foundation in technique, connection, and musicality. Drawing from his recent training in massage and yoga, Sidney brings a body-aware approach to dance, helping dancers move more efficiently, reduce tension, and improve balance, mobility, and longevity on the dance floor. Xanne Mensinga has a background as a performance artist in theatre. She has experience in various dance styles, including Contemporary, Ballet, Hip Hop, Argentine Tango, and since 2018 she has been dancing Brazilian Zouk. She has been teaching Zouk for over five years, and in the past year she has taught at several international events. Her approach balances technique, flow, and expression. She helps dancers develop more surrender, softness and dynamic in their dance. ----------------------------------------------------------------- At ZOUK JE ZEN we aim for (emotional) freedom, safety, playfulness, flow & connection through dance = life. We believe that contact in dance is key to experience this Ecstatic feeling. Contact dance brings you to the present moment, to your own body and brings you closer to each other in a flowy, playful way.
