Leaders will discover how to guide head movements with confidence and ease, while followers will explore the balance between trust, control and surrender. It aims to promote and celebrate the expressive and emotional aspects of dance, creating a space for dancers to explore their creativity and personal style. Soulzouk strives to foster a strong sense of connection and communication between dancers, emphasizing the importance of trust, mutual understanding, and collaboration. It encourages dancers to develop their ability to lead and follow, allowing for improvisation and co-creation on the dance floor. SoulZouk has a unique approach to head movements: the supported head moves, found in no other zouk style. Known for their comfort and deeply relaxing flow, these head moves create a magical experience of connection. In this workshop, leaders will discover how to guide them with confidence and ease, while followers will explore the beautiful balance of trust, control, and surrender. About the dance teachers: Michel has his background in breakdance. He has learned a lot about bio-mechanics, balance, creativity and energy consumption. Michel has been trained in different Zouk styles. SoulZouk (by Claudio Silva) & Neo-Zouk (by Ruanita Santos) being his two most favorite styles, which also combine well together.
