Zouk meets Lambada It’s undeniable that lambada is more and more popular and recently it is massively influencing Brazilian Zouk. Observing this recent trend I decided to travel to Brazil to study lambada and start incorporating it into my zouk. In this new module I would like to show you some ways of how we can bring more lambada into our zouk and keep up with new trends. Believe me, over a couple of months there will be a lot of lambada on the dance floor so the sooner you get familiar with it the more fun you will have. To make sure that this module is on the highest possible level I invited 2 brilliant Brazilian lambada teachers who will share with us their passion and knowledge. Leticia Castro Leticia is a Brazilian dancer born in Belém do Pará, the cradle of lambada. She is exclusively dedicated to teaching this dance, in the last 8 years she traveled to more than 20 countries around the world with the aim of teaching the lambada culture. Hudson Alexandre Hudson is a 27 years old artist from Rio de Janeiro. He has been working for years teaching people to dance Brazilian Zouk and now specializes and works more strongly with Lambada. Experiencing the culture of Lambada and Zouk in Rio, he studied with great names of Brazilian Zouk and Lambada and continues sharing these cultures with lots of love and respect. Winner of several championships in Brazil, currently studies on role changes and better techniques for leaders and followers. 8 weeks module contains several topics: 1.
