Paulo Victor and Luisa Teston Dancers, teachers and choreographers, a couple completely in love with dance, this is what best describes Paulo Victor and Luisa Teston They formed the partnership in 2014, and have been teaching students how to enjoy the dance as they do in a fun and safe way since. Combined they have over 30 years of dance experience. Paulo is specialized in Brazilian Ballroom techniques, but with a main focus on Brazilian Zouk. In addition to these styles, he continues his learning by taking classical ballet, hip hop, contemporary, choreography, and physical therapy classes which add to his holistic dance repertoire. Luisa has been studying dance since she was 6 years old. She trained in classical ballet while she was growing up in the South of Brazil, and after studied with the most renowned ballet companies in different parts of the country. Luisa then discovered Brazilian Ballroom dance, which she has been teaching in Sao Paulo for 9 years, and has since specialized in Zouk. With all this dancing, Paulo and Luisa have taken up an interest in studying how to prevent injuries, working alongside a physiotherapist and a professional ballerina. This methodology has really helped them as well as their students to dance as safely as possible while enjoying dance to its fullest. Together, Paulo and Luisa have formed a powerful partnership where they try and bring their students the most important parts of their learning over the years, particularly focusing on studying the fundamentals of partner dance, which includes physical preparation, technique, musicality, social skills and movement as expression. They love to inspire, teach technique and always remember to keep the enjoyment and freedom of dance! “Alone we go faster but together we go further” Very well price priced food and drinks downstairs in Triple Kirk's bar and hopefully if a nice day there is a beer garden.
