Zouk Workshops in Durango

Join instructor Rachel Ashley and our blossoming community of Zouk dancers as we continue to explore the beautiful dance of Brazilian Zouk in Durango! For this weekend in July, we will continue to focus on foundational steps and movements while diving into the water element! ***Details for Workshops*** Date: Saturday, July 2, 2022 Workshop #1: Zouk Water Movements Time: 11am - 1pm Location: Rotary Park Gazebo located at 1565 E Second Ave Durango, CO 81301 Cost: $30 Content: During this workshop we will play with body roles, waves, and undulations. This workshop will be focused on finding these movements within our own bodies first and then learning how to guide and receive these movements with a partner. Lunch break and relax! Workshop #2: Deep Dive into Zouk Foundations Time: 3pm - 5pm Location: Rotary Park Gazebo located at 1565 E Second Ave Durango, CO 81301 Cost: $30 Content: During this workshop, we will play with integrating our water movements and style into foundational Zouk steps and patterns. ***Pre-registration rate of $50 for both workshops before July 1st.*** Rachel will be available for private lessons on Saturday after 5pm and pre-scheduled hours on Sunday.
