Abraços e beijos😘 Sydney ******************** Class Descriptions: Solo Training for Leads and Follows: if you want to dance with a partner, you first must dance with yourself. In this class, you will move from beginning to end and learn ways to warm up, train, and cross train to support and improve your Zouk dancing. Bate Cabelo Variations: in this class you will learn how to do this move and how to lead and follow it safely and deliciously. We will aso explore the history and how it made it's way into Brazilian Zouk along with variations to help spice up your dancing. About Sydney... Following a year-long world tour teaching and studying Brazilian Zouk, Sydney Charisse settled in Chicago where she teaches weekly classes and runs a zouk performance team at Latin Street Music and Dancing. In workshops, Sydney draws on a lifetime of dance experience (ballet, contemporary, jazz, competitive ballroom, blues, contact improvisation, yoga, Gyrotonic, among others) including a master's in dance to train the complete body, inspire endless creativity, and facilitate safe and pain-free connection and communication. Her specialties are solo training for zouk foundations, helping dancers discover and develop their unique voices as movers, switch dance technique, techniques to enjoy every dance with every dancer across all levels, and her new favorite move Bate Cabelo😉.
