Performer, teacher and choreographer, he started dancing Latin and Brazilian ballroom in 2007 and after 3 months was invited to become part of Sport Dance’s Company where he learned Brazilian zouk, salsa, samba de gafieira, bolero, chachacha, forró and one of his favourites, Argentine tango. In December 2007 he did his first zouk workshop with “The Queen of Zouk”, Renata Peçanha, in Goiânia and has never looked back. From 2008 to 2009, he went to study in Morelia, Mexico where he started to teach Brazilian dances at Mundo Dance Academy, and where he met Paulina Posadas – today the 8 times World Champion on Salsa On2 – and she invited him to be part of her dance company MoreSalsa where he learned and improved his dance, especially salsa. In 2010, Arthur was accepted into Goiás Federal University where he did physical education learning human anatomy, biomechanics, gymnastics and much more; knowledge that he applies to his dance and teaching today. In 2012, he opened his own school, Arthur Santos Dance Studio in Goiânia. In 2013, followed by his dance partner – the world renowned dancer, Layssa Liebscher – they moved to Adelaide, Australia where they have been building a strong Brazilian Zouk community as well as teaching other Brazilian dance styles. They have also spent their time traveling interstate around Australia and touring overseas in countries like Singapore, Indonesia, Malaysia, United Arab Emirates, New Zealand, China, Holland, Finland, Poland, England and the USA. In 2015 they got their Distinguished Talent Visa in Australia. In 2016 they opened their own Dance Studio - Brasilatino Dança - in Adelaide - Australia and in 2018 started organise their event BZEW - Brazilian Zouk Educational Weekend - a successfully exclusive limited spots weekend learning more about WHY TO DO IT than HOW TO DO IT. In March 2020 Arthur moved to Madrid to start a brand new life with his love one and where began working to improve the growth of Brazilian Zouk in Spain, and also invest in his own dance. 🔹 Kadu Pires - @KaduPiress 🔹 World renowned Brazilian Zouk professional originally from Brazil. During Kadu’s 20-year dance career, he built a reputation as one of the best young dancers in Sao Paulo, Brazil, before being recognised as a Samba de Gafieira and Samba no Pe dancer and instructor of reference for Brazil’s new dance generation. He has worked as a dancer, instructor and choreographer for high profile dance companies in Sao Paulo and Rio de Janeiro, including the Jimmy de Oliveira Dance Academy and Company and the Alex de Carvalho Dance Academy and Company. Since 2005, when he started dance partnership with Larissa, they spend up to 80% of the year travelling to teach, perform, choreograph and judge at the world’s most important Latin dance events and competitions. They have been instrumental in boosting the popularity of Brazilian Zouk and Samba de Gafieira internationally. Their credits include competition wins and television appearances in Brazil and in Australia where they lived for 10 years, including choreographing for So You Think You Can Dance Australia. In 2013 they founded the K&L Dance school in Brisbane – Australia, where over 120 students learn LATIN Dance weekly. On this same year they also founded the Casa do Zouk 2020 congress in the Gold Coast which attracts over 500 participants every year! In 2014 the first Brazilian Zouk Dance Council oficial Brazilian Zouk Jack and Jill took place at Casa do Zouk in Australia, since then registered competitions are gaining popularity all over the world. Today he is based in Madrid - Spain, where he began working to improve the growth of Brazilian Zouk in Spain. He have also been dedicating time studying and competing West Coast Swing with Larissa, their new passion. They placed on Showcase division at the US Open Swing in the last 2 years. 🔹 William Teixeira - @WilliamTeixeira.Dancer 🔹 World renowned Brazilian Zouk professional originally from Brazil. He has the reputation of thorough explanations of movements and for being creative and intensely musical on the dance floor. Begin dancing in 2006 at Centro de Dança Alex de Carvalho in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. Together with Paloma they are world-renowned Brazilian Zouk dancers, choreographers and teachers. William appeared at popular Brazilian TV Show “Domingão do Faustão” with singer Diogo Nogueira. Participated in the show “Upset” aired by Rede Globo in 2011. Was featured in the “Commicao de Frente” of the samba school Alegria da Zona Sul in 2011, and highlighted the Inocentes de Belford Roxo in 2012. 2011 – Championship Capital Zouk (DF) – Placing: 2nd place. 2012 – III International Congress Zouk Lambada and (RJ) – Placing: 1st place. Today he lives in Madrid and continue to travel around the world, teaching at numerous dance congresses. He also is the organiser of the Madrid Zouk & Bachata Festival 2020.
