Eric from Zurich with two amazing teachers of his team, Nerina and Tasha, will teach us for 9 hours of workshops in three days with 2 socials! Also, it is not possible to join only Sunday. The Friday Workshop is NOT mandatory for the rest of the weekend if you can't join. The "Challenge" part is aimed at Zoukers with a bit more experience. If you are still at the beginning of your Zouk journey and willing to challenge yourself: join, but don't be mad at the teachers or yourself if you struggle to keep up. Everything needs its time! There are only limited numbers of Foundation-only Tickets! CONTENT: StepUp (1st Weekend): 09.12.-11.12. The foundation of our dancing is set in our steps and how we interact with our peers & partners. We’ll be presenting our code of conduct for a respectful dancing & training together and dive deep into the technique of stepping. To ensure a flowing, stable and comfortable, yet creative & versatile dance we’ll be working on our balance, clarifying directions, study the possible orientations towards our partner, clean the alignment of our steps and play with timing. Further we’ll be introducing you to the dynamic frame and core-centered leading & following, providing you a relaxed and clear yet soft, force-free connection. And last but not least, we’ll be creating a few interesting & fun combinations together with you. If you like to, we challenge you with how precision can save you time and effort, intrigue you on how timing & balance-control can add flavor & design to your dancing and blow your mind with the unexpected variations resulting from spins, reversions & diversions.
