Zoukers Take Chicago Summer Socials

Join us for Zouk Summer 2026 socials hosted by Zoukers Take Chicago at Ping Tom Park in Chinatown from 6-9pm! [LOCATION] While the weather's nice in Chicago, we take advantage by dancing outdoors at Ping Tom Park! The riverwalk specifically has a very nice floor for dancing. To find the riverwalk, use "Ping Tom Boathouse" in Google Maps, and the riverwalk is just a few steps further into the park. More specific directions: from the main entrance of Ping Tom Park, walk past the train tracks (towards the gazebo), make a right past the playground, keep walking past the bridge and boathouse, and from there you should be able to see us on the riverwalk (red railings) and hear the Zouk music! [ADMISSION] $5 cover to @Valerie-Tu. Free to beginner Zoukers attending a ZTC social for the first time! [PARKING] Parking can unfortunately be difficult in Chinatown. There is free parking on the residential streets along the park and plenty of paid metered parking, but those can be very competitive. Validated parking is available in the lots under the CTA stop. Why is the social so early? This allows you to keep your evening plans, or you can get to know the Chicago Zouk community by going out to dinner with us afterwards! See you there!
