✨✨ ZOUKGLOW LONDON comes to Brighton featuring INTERNATIONAL ARTISTS. ✴️ LUCAS & VANESSA ✴️ Let's talk about --> LUCAS PELLINI FONTANA His path has a strong connection with physical activities, the study of the body & its expressions. Graduated in physical education, he has practiced many sports including artistic gymnastics & practiced martial arts for over 20 years. Now a little bit about --> VANESSA SILVEIRA DISOUZA Dancer Teacher, Choreographer, entrepreneur, Romana's & owner of Rosa Norte Dance School. She started dancing when she was 4 in classical ballet at the renowned Dora ballet school, where she dance until she was 15. While she was doing ballet she was also dancing Jazz, hip-hop & contemporary. THEIR STORY ----> International Artists all the way from Brazil. They met eachother through ballroom dancing in 2010. From there they started building their friendship, and in 2014 started working together with Brazilian Zouk in Caxias do Sul - Rs, their hometown. In 2017, they established a partnership with the aim of developing & promoting Zouk from their region to the rest of Brazil & abroad. With their particular way of working, they complement eachother with a traditional & casual style, making a unique couple and adding to the growth of dance & Zouk in the south of Brazil. As partners they have been teaching in some of the main Zouk events in Brazil like Zouk Day Congress(SP), Zouk in Rio (RJ) & UaiZouk(MG), moreover they have been giving workshops & teaching at events in several other cities like Porto Alegre, Florianópolis, Curitiba, Campinas, Londrina, among others. In 2022 they have been teaching at ZoukMX in Playa del Carmen - México, and in 2023 they did their first tour in Europe, teaching at events such as BDF (Brazilian Dance Festival) in Amsterdam & Dublin Zouk Fest in Ireland, as well as workshops in London & Manchester, England. ✴️ Jade Rodrigues ✴️ Jade is an International Brazilian Zouk Teacher from London currently working as a solo artist & collaborating with other artists to share her knowledge and dance internationally. Jade has over 25 years' combined dance experience in ballet. Jazz, hip-hop, contemporary & Latin rhythms & it's this versatility that uniquely defines her dance & teaching style. Jade is fiercely passionate about seeing progress in her students and has more than 14 years of practical experience teaching dance to adults & children. Jade began refining her Brazilian Zouk knowledge under the mentorship of Kadu & Larissa in 2018. She has since completed their teacher training program and is a BZDC registered judge. In 2021 Jade trained in the MAC methodology by Alex De Carvalho and is a MAC certified instructor. Combining her vast experience as a Brazilian Zouk leader, follower & solo dancer brings a rare perspective to Jade's methodology & artistic style. In 2019 having built a strong reputation for high quality teaching & results, Jade established her Brazilian Zouk & Lambada school 'Zoukglow London' offering weekly classes, courses & events. Alongside traditional partner classes, Jade champions the importance of solo training internationally to help individuals improve the quality of their dance and feel more empowered. With this in mind, Jade co-founded the first international followers only event in Europe with Julinha Johann in 2023 'Followers Unleashed'. Jade is now recognised internationally and has been regularly teaching at festivals & intensives around the world. Notably she was the first solo female artist invited to teach at major festivals such as Silesian Zouk Festival and Abra Zouk Festival since 2021. And the first non-Brazilian solo female artist invited to teach in Brazil. In 2023 Jade has been invited to teach at festivals in North America, Brazil, Asia & Europe.
