With the popular demand we are bringing back Zouk to you all. ✨ ZOUKGLOW LONDON comes to Brighton PART 2 - featuring INTERNATIONAL ARTISTS. ✴️ OTAVIO KANASHIRO ✴️ In 2012, he started learning to dance at ACM Project for a period of 2 years. There he learned urban dances, jazz, classical and contemporary ballet and so many others rhythms with teacher Antônia Mana Moura. Still at ACM Project he participated in several presentations and festivals. Later, in 2015, he had his first contact with forró, samba de gafieira, zouk, sertanejo and other rhythms with teachers Cláudio (Choco) and Osiris Pietro. In 2019, he wanted new challenges and became assistant teacher at Carine & Rafael Dance School. There he studied salsa and bachata with teachers Carine and Rafael and Robinson and Lorissa. In the same year he discovered Spaço 3DDance school and was invited to be an assistant teacher. There he studied zouk and lambazouk with teachers David and Deywylla, Bruna Kazakevic and Zé Roberto and Raú Ferreira and Isamara Vidal. In 2021, he started his professional career and became a teacher with a specialty in zouk and lambazouk. In 2022 he started a partnership with Sara Bezerra and together they gave dance classes at national congresses. They also participated of so many competitions and achieved excellent placements. Nowadays he teaches men style, zouk and lambazouk at national and international congresses. ✴️ Jade Rodrigues ✴️ Jade is an International Brazilian Zouk Teacher from London currently working as a solo artist & collaborating with other artists to share her knowledge and dance internationally. Jade has over 25 years' combined dance experience in ballet. Jazz, hip-hop, contemporary & Latin rhythms & it's this versatility that uniquely defines her dance & teaching style. Jade is fiercely passionate about seeing progress in her students and has more than 14 years of practical experience teaching dance to adults & children. Jade began refining her Brazilian Zouk knowledge under the mentorship of Kadu & Larissa in 2018. She has since completed their teacher training program and is a BZDC registered judge. In 2021 Jade trained in the MAC methodology by Alex De Carvalho and is a MAC certified instructor. Combining her vast experience as a Brazilian Zouk leader, follower & solo dancer brings a rare perspective to Jade's methodology & artistic style. In 2019 having built a strong reputation for high quality teaching & results, Jade established her Brazilian Zouk & Lambada school 'Zoukglow London' offering weekly classes, courses & events. Alongside traditional partner classes, Jade champions the importance of solo training internationally to help individuals improve the quality of their dance and feel more empowered. With this in mind, Jade co-founded the first international followers only event in Europe with Julinha Johann in 2023 'Followers Unleashed'. Jade is now recognised internationally and has been regularly teaching at festivals & intensives around the world. Notably she was the first solo female artist invited to teach at major festivals such as Silesian Zouk Festival and Abra Zouk Festival since 2021. And the first non-Brazilian solo female artist invited to teach in Brazil. In 2023 Jade has been invited to teach at festivals in North America, Brazil, Asia & Europe.
