ZOUKMATES ZURICH with William & Myriam Zoukmates Zurich was created with the intention of connecting the Zouk communities of the foreign cities closest to Zurich, those which have been around for years and those which have been newly created, in order to have the opportunity to meet not only the teachers closest to us, but also their work and their students. ✨ ARTISTS ✨ In the first edition, we have the pleasure to welcome WILL & MYRIAM from LYON. This couple started to teach Zouk in Lyon in 2018 and recently expanded to teach also in Geneva. They transmit their knowledge and style through a pedagogy full of energy, always with a smile on their faces. This has allowed them to develop a nice community back in Lyon and promote workshop weekends and other zouk events. Have you been dancing for a long time but love to revisit the basics? This is without a doubt the course for you! We'll be working on basic steps, undulations, waves and isolations, building up throughout the two sessions. INTERMEDIATE Course (2 sessions of 1h 30min) Are you in love with head movements and working with all the possibilities that zouk offers us? This class is for those who already know the basics of head movements, tilt turns and 'frango asado' or ‘roasted chicken’. Throughout the two sessions of this course the steps and technique will be built up for a better understanding and incorporation of the different options in our dancing.
