Számos táncforma gyakorlása mellett fő fókuszában kezdettől fogva a kontaktimprovizáció áll, amelyben körülbelül 25 év tapasztalattal rendelkezik.

In English:
Ground & Relate - A somatic, improvisation-focused movement series with Juli Gabor
How can movement help us feel more grounded, connected and at home in our bodies? How do we find support within ourselves, connect with others, and stay responsive to what is happening around us?
Ground & Relate is a movement and improvisation-based workshop, exploring these questions through somatic practices, movement and refelction.
After the free try class, there is an 8 time series starting where GROUNDING, connection and awareness will be recurring threads throughout. We will explore how we relate to the floor, to gravity, to ourselves and to each other, and how these relationships can influence the way we move, perceive and respond.
Gábor Juli (HU/AT) is a dancer, dance educator, holistic dance educator and bodyworker, based in Vienna and Budapest. She has deepened her practice and knowledge with teachers including Eszter Gál, Scott Wells, Sabine Parzer and many others. Since 2021, she has been teaching alongside Matan Levkowich in the Movement Lab dance education programme in Vienna.
With more than 15 years of experience in the performing arts, her main areas of interest are improvisational scores, site-specific dance and multidisciplinary performance.
The key words for Juli are EASE, JOY and PLAYFULNESS – values she strives to embody in all areas of her life and to bring into her teaching and bodywork practice.
