Tango Pista Choreography Course

*WHY DO I NEED A CHOREOGRAPHIC COURSE IF I DANCE PISTA?* We got this question a lot, so we changed everything. Our NOVEMBER COURSE will NOT be Tango Escenario. It will be 100% TANGO PISTA. *4 classes of 2 hours: NOVEMBER 17/24 and DECEMBER 1/8 from 7pm to 9pm* 📍 3527 El Camino Real, Palo Alto, CA 94306 We are going to build a choreography using REAL pista steps. Those steps you love but sometimes don't work at the milonga. We will break them down, repeat them, and polish them for 2 hours until your body understands them. Not your head, your body. *What is the goal?* To stop thinking about the step and start feeling it. So next time you are at the milonga, that movement just appears, improvised. *What will you learn differently here?* > *If you are a LEADER:* You will not learn to push or use force to make it happen. You will learn to lead a complex movement with such clarity that any follower can follow it, even if she has never done it before. That is real leading. > *If you are a FOLLOWER:* You will not learn to guess or do the step from memory because "you already know it". You will learn to wait, to listen to the lead, and to understand the mobility of your own body. So you can follow anything. It's not about memorizing. We use choreographic repetition as the most powerful tool we professionals have to improve our improvisation. *ABOUT THE CLASSES:* Ideally you should take all 4 classes because we will build a full choreography. But you can also join individual classes if you can't make them all. Although the classes are connected, they are also individual, because in each class we will work on different parts of the music. *INVESTMENT:* *4-Class Package (8 hours total):* $360 per couple with pre-registration / $400 at the door *Single Class:* $100 per couple with pre-registration / $120 at the door *To reserve:* $100 deposit via Zelle or Cash.
