Contact Landscapes

Contact Landscapes is a series of events that investigates moving in nature. With the basis of contact improvisation we’ll investigate how to travel through landscapes. Our material is what we encounter. The tracks we draw in space and time are created in the present. We interact with land and people. We observe and listen. Paying attention to structure, movement, materials, and forms. The practice is based on contact improvisation, but we’ll also draw inspiration from gaga, contemporary, landscape choreography, somatics, body mind centering and authentic movement. This research is for artists, dancers, performers, and individuals interested in the experience of improvising and moving through landscapes, both as individuals and as a group. We’ll start with a guided warmup and move into exercises and scores. The investigation will be facilitated by performing artist and dancer Anne Basse, who has a Bachelor of Arts and has been a long-time external lecturer in Performance Design at Roskilde University. Anne is also educated as a Somatic Teacher at Sabine Parzers institute in Vienna. //////////////////////////////////////// DATES: Sep 15th at 16.00-17.15 // Location: Amager Fælled at https://maps.app.goo.gl/n8L5ALZ8TjqeWXjz6 Sep 27th at 12.00-13.15 // Cancelled Oct 3rd at 12.00-14.00// Location: Amager Fælled at https://maps.app.goo.gl/n8L5ALZ8TjqeWXjz6 Oct 11 at 12.00-14.00 // Location: TBA Oct 18 at 12.00-14 // Location: TBA //////////////////////////////////////// Sign up: Latest 2 days before the event at [email protected] Price: 80 kr. cash or mobile pay 0651CE (If you are low-income you can attend for free, but write this when you sign up) Duration: 2 hours Level: Open to all levels - Just bring a curious mindset.
