Continuing Balboa - Swing Series

*please ignore the banner image info for now* Students in this class are expected to be comfortable with pure bal and bal swing basics (including driving/down-hold rhythms, come arounds, toss outs, and lollies that were covered in July's level 1. Usually we focus on swing dancing that evolved in Harlem but this month we're focusing on the dance that came from the crowded dance floors of Southern California. We recommend you wear shoes with slick bottoms and a short heel. Level 1 classes meet every Wednesday downstairs at the Laurel Theater from 7 - 8:15 pm. Classes are $8 a night ($2 discount for cardholders) and include admission to the dance. Purchase the month of lessons to receive one week free. Local students can request a free benefit card.
