URBANKIZ WEEKLY CLASSES THEME: LESS IS MORE In dance, what feels simple is often built on clarity, awareness, and good technique. This season, we focus on Less Is More. Instead of collecting lots of patterns and memorizing combinations, we will work on understanding the systems behind the dance — so you can move with more freedom, more clarity, and more connection. The goal is not just to learn moves, but to understand how movement works, how to create better communication with your partner, and how small details can completely change the feeling of the dance. We’ll work with concepts such as: * Body awareness * Balance and control * Intentional leading and following * Cross systems * Leg dragging systems * Connection and communication We want to create a space where dancers can grow together, share, learn, and enjoy the dance as a community. Because when you understand the system, you don’t need to memorize everything — you can dance with more confidence, creativity, and flow. ⸻ YOUR INSTRUCTORS Sara Tierra Sara Tierra has been teaching Urban Kiz for over 5 years. She is part of the MetaKizz Instructor Program and is the founder of the concept C4Flow. Her teaching is rooted in structure, clarity, and partner connection, with a strong focus on helping students understand the logic behind movement rather than simply copying patterns. Elizabeth Elizabeth has been dancing Kizomba Fusion for almost five years and teaching for one and a half years, both in Denmark and internationally. For her, Kizomba is about connection, presence, and musicality.
